FYI, Act 210 was passed into law yesterday. Subject to PUC approval, it enables public utilities to replace customer-owned lead water services line or customer-owned damaged wastewater laterals and put the replacement cost into rates. The customer would continue to own the line/lateral, but would not have to pay for the replacement. I know there are a number of Townships struggling with these issues. Look forward to people's thoughts on this.
